Harrison Kim is a senior advisor to Clearbrook in charge of strategic relationships in Asia. Previously he worked at Samsung Electronics Overseas Division for 16 years, expanding their market covering mainland China including Hong Kong, Taiwan and other Asian markets. One of his significant accomplishments was launching Samsung’s GSM cellular phone in China and other European markets.
He also held the position of CEO at the joint venture between the CJ Group and Shanghai Media Group (ocj.com.cn) for 13 years and grew it to the leading Home Shopping Company in China, from a $10 million to a $1 billion valuation over a decade.
As well as advising Clearbrook he is also a senior advisor to Kim & Chang, the largest law firm in S. Korea. Mr. Kim is also active as an outside director of POSCO International and Hanmi Global.
He graduated from KAIST with a Techno MBA and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies majoring in Chinese. His post graduated work includes AMP in CEIBS (China Euro International Business School) in Shanghai.
